In 2013 Mr Speaker and his "Rascal Sea Men" crashed Woodford Folk Festival. Uninvited they managed to enter the festival with there complete stage rig and run a total of 5 off hook stage shows over 4 days at the festival. As word spread they were finally invited by stage management to play a new years eve set in the pineapple lounge, "one of the best gigs in my memory" says Mr Speaker.
